About me
Margaret is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and owner of Equilibrium Therapy Services P.L.L.C., a private practice serving Minnesota and Wisconsin. Margaret is also a MN LMFT & LPC/LPCC Board-Approved Supervisor. Currently, Margaret offers trauma, couples, and sex therapy services through her private practice and provides outside supervision to pre-licensed professionals who are pursuing their post-graduate clinical training. Margaret also teaches systemic business management and personal stress-management and wellness courses to professionals in the automotive service industry. As the wife of an automotive service professional, Margaret is aware of the unique challenges facing professionals in the industry and is passionate about helping them develop the skills necessary to own and manage successful businesses while maintaining a fulfilling personal and family life.
Previously, Margaret has been employed as an in-home therapist for families with Child Protective Services involvement and in an emergency department providing crisis assessment and stabilization services. Prior to her career as a therapist, Margaret managed an assisted living facility, provided in-home services to adults and children with severe and persistent mental illness, and provided crisis services as a sexual assault advocate.
